GenerationStation, the concept, began in 2004. That was the year my father died. The tributes that followed told the story of his life and paid homage to a man loved by family and friends. But these memories were scattered and not easily shared.
Some may see a site about death. But to me, GenerationStation is about life – celebrating life. It’s about helping people connect with their family history. Allowing them to collaborate with family and friends to honor loved ones. A place to discover stories about distant relatives and friends, and a place for you to record special memories (your memoirs) for future generations.
